Red Bluff Jr. Spartans 2014

As we are in the NFL playoffs I'm remembering our boys' football season this year. It was such a great year and Eli's team (Jr. Midgets) made it into the playoffs. It was so amazing to watch him be such a team leader as 1st string Quarterback and one of 4 Team Captains! He threw some amazing passes this year. Red Bluff tied with some teams and had to play a cornell against Corning and  We are so proud of him and I feel so blessed to be his Momma!

Our son Caiden moved up to the Pee Wee's team this year and for being one of the younger ones moving up he did amazing! After being 1st string last year it was hard not getting as much play time being 2nd string but with Caidens humility and kindness he was just happy to play ball and be a part of our towns football league! He also got to play some defense on 1st string which made him happy! So proud of my middle boy, I love his sweet heart more than words can say!

This year was our little boy's very first year of playing football. He was a Mighty Mite and was so blessed to have his Daddy as his coach! The year went great! Ashden started off as a hard worker and finished strong too! They timed the team in running drills and Ashden had the fastest timing! He started out as a Running Back, then they changed him to a Flanker Back and by the end of the season he was the teams Quarterback! His older brothers were so excited.  At the beginning of the season Caiden mention that it would be awesome if they were all three QB's so they could be called the QB3's! :) So towards the end of the season it just so happened to work out that the Wehbey brothers were the "QB3's! Ashden really enjoyed football but was ready for a break by the time the season ended. I sure hope he wants to play next season because in this house, we LOVE football! Although if our little man decides not to play football, we will support him in what ever he is passionate about and loves! I do have to say he was the cutest little Mighty Mite!

It is a big responsibility and takes dedication to be a Red Bluff Jr. Spartan and be a part of their teams and I am so proud of our three boys for doing an amazing job supporting their team, listening and learning from their coaches and having a great time. Our two older boys start off the season with 5 days a week practices for 2 hours a night and our little guy Ashden does 3 nights a week for 1 1/2 hours, not to mention they even play in Red Bluffs extreme heat! The coaches are great at making sure if it's over 100 degrees they practice with their helmet and pads off and for this I'm thankful! :)
This is our boys' biggest cheerleader!
(Other than Dad and I of course!)
Clarity! Our baby girl is super supportive of her brothers! We sit in bleachers for 8-10 hours every Saturday during the season! We bring our pop-up to block the sun and have bags of food, sunblock, drinks, coloring books, markers, toys, nook and books to have fun with. And man are we so happy they have snack bars and special tables and vendors that come to games for us to buy special treats from and walk around and look at! Ashden's game is from 10am-12pm, Caiden's game is 2pm-4pm and Eli's game is 4pm-6pm! We usually stay for the game from 12pm-2pm as well because their cousin (my nephew) plays on this team. We also sometimes stay until halftime on the 6pm-8pm game if our children are up for it. Most of the time they are worn out and we head home but sometimes our boys want to watch the game and Clarity wants to see her cousin cheer so we stay! (my niece is a cheerleader on the team from 6-8pm!)

This is our family! Not everyone is in this photo but on this day we had lots of family and friends coming to support so we had to have 2 pop-ups! :)

A special treat on a hot day of football! Clarity is enjoying her Ice Cream! :)
I literally have hundreds of photos but will end on some of my favorites from our photo session before turning in all our boys' football gear. I LOVE taking pictures and will cherish all our special memories as our children get older and am so happy to have photos to look back on!
